Just like the 240Z above this Z is also one and only in Brunei. Yes it does look like the Nismo 350Z that you see on the road but dont let the exterior fool you. Based on the successful 07 Super Taikyu Race Car, nismo decided to make a street version of it by detuning it. With only a limited run of 300 vehicles ever made, Brunei is lucky to have and enthusiast that got the car. The Nismo 380 RS is powered by a 350HP 3.8L VQ35HR or some may call it the VQ38HR. From its name you can already figure out that this car is equipped with all the Nismo goodies like suspension, exhaust, forged internals etc. Face to face with the 240Z. For more info on the 380 RS: http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/complete/380RS/ Whats more limited than the version of the 350z than the 380rs? the 380RS Superleggera which is the Amused tuned version of the 380RS
Brunei have its own fair share of RB conversion on the 300zx chasis but what really make this one stand out from the rest is that this is not just an engine conversion. Almost every part of the R32 GTR was transplanted and fabricated to fit in this 240Z chasis. \ This means its is 4WD, R32 suspensions and even the massive R32 brakes have been retrofitted into this ride. And we all know that this is not an easy fit. Especially how with the state of the car before the restoration. Luckily for him, he has his own bodyshop which helps to cut the cost on the body restoration. But the restoration didnt went perfectly as there's always that electrical and mechanical gremlins when doing this type of conversions. Lucky l=with t As you can see from this shot the R32 dashboard, steering, and even the old Greddy E-01 boost controller mounted on the dash. The rest of the interior remains the 240Z. They wasked for a photoshoot in January but due to other commitment and unpredictable weather its very hard to plan but as usual an unplanned photoshoot always work. I asked one of the owner while covering his engagement if the FD2Rs were available that night and there was a good turn up especially two of my favorites the wide Maxracing and Feel's FD2R. I didnt knew about this Maxracing FD2R before and at first sight I thought it similar to the Feel's. But after shooting them both I realise the difference in their fender design. And truth be told I kinda like the Maxraing fender more. Its also equipped with one of my favorite wheels the Volk Racing RE30. Its even wrapped in one of the best street/track tyres the legendary Advan Neova AD08 The design of this fender reminds me of the Nismo R34. Front end of the Maxracing FD2R. When I owned Honda Im always on the net surfing most Honda aftermarket sites when I saw this Feel's FD2R it was almost exac
