White Comet RX-7

2016 marks the year I officially joined Pixel8mediaworks a group of my petrol head friends who are also into photo/videography and the awesome part is shooting in a group and they arrange me with the awesome cars that I can shoot.
If only it was legal to drive without plates the kit looks so clean without it. Only hardcore Re Amemiya will know which version this is , they all look the same awesomess to me. You cant go wrong with them.
Most people will stay away from this car due to its engine, but for they also love the car for the engine. Its a love hate thing with rotaries. They're light, have less moving parts, makes more power compared to others in the 1.3L category, and the sound of this high revving turbo engine is unlike any other.

Since the engine is small and light, they were able to place it way back in the engine bay making a good balance combined with its good chassis, aero and suspension making it one of the best handling cars available. Which is why the FEED RX-7 is still the Touge Monster till now.

Just like the 240Z above this Z is also one and only in Brunei. Yes it does look like the Nismo 350Z that you see on the road but dont let the exterior fool you. RB26DETT 240Z

Brunei have its own fair share of RB conversion on the 300zx chasis but what really make this one stand out from the rest is that this is not just an engine conversion. Almost every part of the R32 GTR was transplanted and fabricated to fit in this 240Z chasis. \  This means its is 4WD, R32 suspensions and even the massive R32 brakes have been retrofitted into this ride. And we all know that this is not an easy fit. Especially how with the state of the car before the restoration. Luckily for him, he has his own bodyshop which helps to cut the cost on the body restoration. But the restoration didnt went perfectly as there's always that electrical and mechanical gremlins when doing this type of conversions. Team FD2R

They wasked for a photoshoot in January but due to other commitment and unpredictable weather its very hard to plan but as usual an unplanned photoshoot always work. I asked one of the owner while covering his engagement if the FD2Rs were available that night and there was a good turn up especially two of my favorites the wide Maxracing and Feel's FD2R. I didnt knew about this Maxracing FD2R before and at first sight I thought it similar to the Feel's. But after shooting them both I realise the difference in their fender design. And truth be told I kinda like the Maxraing fender more. Its also equipped with one of my favorite wheels the Volk Racing RE30. Its even wrapped in one of the best street/track tyres the legendary Advan Neova AD08 The design of this fender reminds me of the Nismo R34. Front end of the Maxracing FD2R.
