The 86 is now at its pinnacle, saturated with aftermarket parts and even revised OEM parts which for some add to the performance of the 2017 86. However the local 2017 model doesn't come with all the new and revised goodies. Ever since its launch, most of the reviewers, owners always wish for more power out of the 86. There are "affordable" custom turbo kits depends who does the job and price of the parts u get, turbo kits from well known companies from around the world and one of the most "cheapest" way is to do the infamous 2JZ swap as even the stock internals can handle the more boost and power than the stock FA20. In the case of my friend here, he went for the Trust/Greddy turbo kit. It retains the balance of the FA20 engine and the original looks of the 86 however it give that extra punch.
